We don’t need to import more no skill people. We have plenty of no skill citizens that are sitting on their asses collecting the dole. If they had to work or starve, all of a sudden those jobs would get filled pretty damn quick.

A lot of the illegals are skilled labor and some are even business owners
Plenty of electricians, welders, pipe fitters, etc. These people aren't all working in the fields picking lettuce

We must have close to 70-80 million illegals running around the U.S. by now.
If you include illegals and their “legal” offspring you’re probably pretty close. Most of our population growth over the last 30 years has snuck across the southern border. And because of it our roads are crumbling and overcrowded, housing stock is too limited, new schools have to be built, hospitals going bankrupt, etc, etc.
Illegal immigration has cost us TRILLIONS upon trillions.

No doubt. And those are the people we SHOULD be letting in in a controlled way. Immigration should be about “is this person an asset or liability to the US”. The no skill liabilities need to be sent home. We aren’t the worlds halfway house.
That said, massive immigration of even high skill immigrants also has a downward impact on wages. The tech industry relies on massive amounts of Indian visas to keep their costs down and allow them to run white collar sweatshops.

We already have plenty of "lowskilled" workers in this country. If they refuse to take the jobs currently performed by illegals, then cut off welfare benefits. They will work when they get hungry.

Americans arent willing to work lower class jobs anymore. Its trending more in that direction. Illegals will work those jobs. Want to be upper and middle class? You need a lower class

In 2016 while i was in college i worked a retail job for 7.75. Less and less people are willing to do that.

I did too. One difference today is that if you’re willing to put in the time, it’s much easier and more convenient to make money making stupid YouTube videos or driving Uber than flipping burgers for minimum wage.

I do know most of these illegals are being conditioned to depend on the Federal government for their subsistence, medical care, education, SNAP..
