This race seems to be eerily similar to the 2016 race.

Poll after poll designed to dampen GOP enthusiasm, talking heads popping their champagne corks, concern trolls inundating message boards, defending skewed polls....

Yet, when the rubber met the road and the people actually took to the voting booths, we started hearing a recurring theme "We aren't seeing the numbers there for Clinton...."

Will this be a repeat, inserting the name Biden?

That's NOT good news. In a fair election, Trump gets 400 EVs

The fact you are so easily buying this means you are believing the manipulation and prepped for fraud

The voter interference and fraud started occurring when Obama/Biden Administration began spying on candidate Trump.

Fraud for Democrats come election time is as natural as stinky AM dump for me.

No one I know watches cable news. So talking heads can talk away.

I think your right but there are other factors this time.

The left had some that believed the polls and didn’t show up. Michelle Obama called them out. Many of these are motivated by their irrational hatred of Trump driving up the participation. People that get all their talking points from geniuses like Madcow or Lemonhead.

Hopefully these are countered by several groups. People like me that haven’t voted lately but was highly motivated to this time. People that weren’t sure they could believe a reality star but have been won over by promises kept. People outraged by the riots and the Dems failure to even attempt to stop them. People of good will that are tired of being preached to and called racist. People that love America and believe Thomas Jefferson was more intelligent and vastly better educated than AOC.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Except the dems are ready this time. They won't be caught surprised on election day when the numbers show they are breaking the wrong way for them. They'll have plenty of ballots in reserve to try and get the numbers they need.

Any means necessary, another 4 years of Trump will destroy the country, Trump is literally killing people of color, the ends justify the means, Hillary to Biden - "never concede," etc.

You know it is coming.

I know they will attempt fraud, Hell they've been engaged in fraud and election interference for over 4 years.

I also believe that Team Trump is ready for it and that the Dems will walk into a buzzsaw.

As much as the Anti-Trump vote may be moving more dems to the Polls this year vs 16, there are several things moving for Trump. The most important is that there is even MORE enthusiasm for Trump this time around. Secondly, the latino and hispanic support, then the black support.

I thought a month ago that the turnout would be low but I was wrong. Millions more will vote this time on both sides. Trump will win in a landslide, picking up Nevada and MN and dangerously close in NY.

I still don't understand this ...

Might just be me, but Trump being down in a poll would encourage me even more to get out and right the ship

They are counting on a turnout as big as obama levels in their models, but I just don’t see it happening.

The enthusiasm polls aren't aimed at people like you or me, they are aimed at the "the sky is falling" crowd like you see here on TD.

With Obama, there was genuine enthusiasm.

Even the most casual observer can tell that Biden is wearing Depends and might not make it til' Election Day.

It will be very close. Trump is doing better than what is being reported but it’s still very close. I hope Trump wins and holds the media and others accountable for the state of the nation in 2020.

Just like this one from 'this day in history 2016' CNN. I hate them, so I'll post the relevant parts....

I HATE CNN - 2016

quote:

A trio of state polls released this week show Hillary Clinton's northern "blue wall" holding, as she carries commanding leads across a series of key states.

The polls -- taken after the release of a 2005 recording of Donald Trump talking in a sexually aggressive manner about women -- show Clinton leading in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Coupled with Democrats' advantage in the Electoral College, the slate of polls suggests that only an extremely narrow path to the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency remains for Trump, who has staked his candidacy in part on flipping some traditionally Democratic states.
Trump won Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

quote:

According to CNN's latest battleground map, Trump would need to win one of these states -- Michigan, Wisconsin, or Pennsylvania -- to get more than the 270 electoral votes needed for victory, even if he also captured Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Iowa, Nevada, and every other state Mitt Romney won in 2012.
A new North Carolina poll shows Clinton and Trump running neck-and-neck and a Utah survey shows Trump with a narrow lead over Clinton.
Trump Won Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Iowa, and Utah.

quote:

A Bloomberg Politics poll released on Thursday found Clinton leading Trump by 9 points in Pennsylvania.
Trump Won

This has already started. If mail in ballots are supposed to be as favored to Democrats as polled, then they are in deep, deep shite.

I keep hearing that the Dems need at least a 70-30 advantage in most places or they are screwed.
