Also, whenever you are at the grocery store, basically everything on the shelves are the exact same thing just branded and marketed different. It’s all a scam.

Private Brands are SUPPOSED to be as close to national brand as possible, it’s not a scam it’s the goal. These are almost always made by different companies. Some years ago it was relatively common for branded manufacturers to also make PL, but many of those spun off those units. Look up Treehouse Foods as an example - a major PL manufacturer. Most major PL companies are names you’ve just never heard of.

Again, not a scam but a gift of capitalism. PL sells for less since they don’t do marketing, have less R&D, and generally accept a lower margin.

When you DO see a difference vs a brand, packaging and patents are where it matters. Ever buy PL mustard and have a ton of water come out? That’s packaging. Ever buy a package that doesn’t reseal, but the brand does? That’s a packaging patent.

So you guys don't kill and process your own meat? Why not, it's not expensive, it's not hard. My neighbor just trapped some pigs and me and my dad turned it into enough sausage to last the rest of the year. Have a freezer slam full of deer meat. I'm low on fish but as soon as the river gets right I hope to change that.

I mean I walk into a grocery store and there is now so much “organic” shite now. Is it really “organic?”

It’s organic in the sense the product contains organic molecules…..lol

The main culprit is the rapacious short-term profit model. They basically come in, extract as much out of resources and employees as possible, sell off the company at a high, then move on to the next thing to rape and plunder for quick profits. The company that takes over then comes in and slashes the company all over, makes layoffs, cuts benefits, the company turns to shite and it repeats in all industries again.

And the Dims who used to hate corporations now blindly vote for their overlords every chance they get
