The Natives Land Act of 1913 limited Blacks to owning land only in the “tribal reserves” and thus predated South Africa independence, rule by the National Party and codification of the policies formally called apartheid.
The “apartheid” system was broader than land ownership and extended to every aspect of South African society. It was formalized, organized and codified after WW2 and independence, but the concepts upon which it was based had been a way of life in Afrikaner-controlled areas (compared to British-controlled areas) for several centuries.
When the Brits took, control of the Cape beginning in the early 1800s, many of those practices were abolished in that area' but Afrikaners took them with them when they trekked inland to form the Transvaal and Orange Free State. It was only after independence that those policies were again implemented in full force in the Cape and other British areas.
But comparing Jim Crow to apartheid is akin to comparing the common cold to hemorrhagic fever.

I really don't care. The white people should have GTFO when apartheid ended. It's not like this hasn't been brewing a while.
I know some are hanging round because they aren't going to get anything for the farms, but it's not worth losing your life over.

But some are probably needing money for their land, so they can afford to leave.

I understand where some who support this do so due to ignorance and lack of formal education....
But the fricking retards that support removing lands from the white farmers that can use Google and see the exact same thing playout like a disaster right there in Zimbabwe I don't get. Other than just racial motives which it seems they try to convince you is not the reason for the support. I can't see any other reason BUT race. Logically there is no fricking reason to support this.
It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. You see the gap in the rail line and you know it's fricked... Nothing you can do to slow it down...
