Video footage of NK soldier defecting to SK, he was shot but made it and is recovering

Could you imagine the adrenaline this guy had? Not to mention he crossed at the JSA, he most heavily guarded area on the DMZ. This is the equivalent of an East German trying to jump the Berlin Wall right in front of everyone.
He was shot by NK soldiers but made it to South Korea, is in the hospital in stable condition. This is the type of illegal immigration I’d welcome. This guy actually has a legit reason to get out of this country. Leftists, if communism is so great, why do these guys keep trying to leave?
Regardless, hope this brave dude enjoys living in democracy now.

True. I hope’s not because it’s another slam against the Kim regime. Pretty sure this guy being held in SK still probably feels like heaven compared to what he had. Probably being fed really better food for sure
