Victor Davis Hanson Lays Out 10 Undeniable Truths Why This Peach Mint is a Coup

1) Impeachment 24/7. [dims been attempting since the 2016 election, the Ukraine call is only the latest iteration.]
2) False whistleblowers. The “whistleblower” is no whistleblower by any common definition of the noun...Instead, the whistleblower relied on secondhand water-cooler gossip about a leaked presidential call.... Even his mangled version of the call didn’t match that of official transcribers.
3) First-term impeachment...[all other peach mints were second term]. [this appears to be either] a partisan exercise in either circumventing a referendum election or in damaging a president seeking re-election.
4) No special-counsel finding.
5) No bipartisanship.
6) No high crimes or misdemeanors. There is no proof of any actual crime. Asking a foreign head of state to look into past corruption is pro forma. That Joe Biden is now Trump’s potential rival doesn’t exculpate possible wrongdoing in his past as vice president, when his son used the Biden name for lucrative gain.
7) Thought crimes? Even if there were ever a quid, there is no quo...the Trump administration did supply arms to Ukraine, and the Ukrainians apparently did not reinvestigate the Bidens.
8) Double standards....[If QPQ] is an impeachable offense, should Biden have been impeached or indicted for clearly leveraging the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor for dubious reasons by threats of withholding US aid?
9) The Schiff factor. Schiff ...has repeatedly lied about ...Mueller indictments ... that he and his staff had no prior contact with the whistleblower...made up a version of the Trump call ...[and claimed it was] a “parody.”
10) Precedent. [the dims' abuse of the impeachment power over the past 3 years will set] a precedent in which the out party can use impeachment as a tool to embarrass, threaten or seek to remove a sitting president and reverse an election.
Pretty much sums it up. But hell, why use logic when dims can parade career bureaucrats to wax and wane over their "concerns" over what is or isn't appropriate foreign policies and their "feelings" about getting removed from their posts.

May want to always use all initials when referring to Victor Davis Hanson just so it doesn't get taken out of context.

It's kinda very moderately semi conservative (for NYC), compared to the times' AOC lovefest

Trump asked Ukraine to investigate the Biden matter. He didn't ask them to convict him of anything. Even if Ukraine had investigated Biden it would have only benefited Trump if Biden was convicted of something. It would actually be damaging for Trump if Biden was exonerated. No way to consider this quid pro pro, bribery, or whatever fake quasi legal definition of anything the Democrats are trying to sell everyone on when you have no way of knowing if what you are asking is actually going to benefit you.

I believe Trump already knows what Ukraine would find if they did an investigation into Biden/Burisma. He doesn't ask questions that he doesn't already know the answer. This whole thing is a lot bigger than just Biden. Huge house of cards, and is, basically, a money-laundering scheme that gets $$$ back into the hands of the politicians who fund foreign aid. I.E. Biden, Pelosi, and Kerry.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Slick Willy was impeached in the House during his first term and was re-elected.
