Lots of people post stupid stuff, so I correct them.
When they engage in "hubris with no wisdom" I have to own them sometimes in arguments (like with you routinely)

Ever provide material support to someone, financially or otherwise, and then stop providing that support?
They hate you worse than if you had never helped them in the first place. And there is definitely no gratitude whatsoever for all the help you did give them.
That's what this tariff situation boils down to. We've been letting the world rip us off for so long, and now that we say no more, enough is enough, they hate us for it.
As Trump said to Trudeau, if the only way Canada can survive is by ripping us off, then why should we put up with that? The same goes for the rest of the countries around the world that have been ripping us off.
Canada is the Jackson Mahomes of worthless sibling countries.
