On a debate stage this is probably a lose-lose subject.
The problem is there are defendents who have been found guilty or pled. That is fact that is inescapable which in any debate can be brought up and that ends it.
Not everybody shares our sense of disdain for the judicial system and still believe in it. For them lawfare doesn't exist because it can't exist in the America they [think] live in. So there's still a huge portion that believe in the 'if they were found guilty they obviously did something wrong' combined wit the left that knows what's up. Those two groups combined overwhelm those that find those prosecutions at least biased, if not outright politicized.
So they can always fall back on that.
And not one US Senator ever proclaimed "they are being railroaded". So there's not any voices in the wilderness for someone like Vance to fall back on. It's just him, Trump, and us. No one is going to hear us and if Vance says it they only hear Trump.

I thought he did fine. He is trained in law and hopefully he took trial advocacy. A main rule in trial advocacy outside of never asking a question you don’t already know the answer to is NEVER bring gas to a fire. They were baiting him for a sound bite to play on a loop and he skillfully maneuvered around it. Excellent job, JD.

I thought JD could have reminded everyone that Trump did request 10,000 national guardsmen and was denied by Pelosi. That is a fricking important fact that would have headed off the shitstorm.

PIsses me off they keep going along with the Dem narrative and not pushing back on the theft. Not one mention of stopping the count, kicking out observers and counting in secret until the flipped the election at 4 am in the morning
I do agree with you.
But that's a tactic they'd have used on 45, to try to derail him. They tried it on Vance, and he didn't let them.

the frick you say. The very situation we are in economically is because of the stolen election. People want to memory hole the theft but Im not one of them
We don't want to overlook it, but unfortunately, the msm has managed to spin this in a way that paints Trump and the MAGA movement as "election deniers." It sucks I know.
