Between the ActBlue sham drying up and policies such as this the mid-terms will be no cake walk for the Dems.
Soros funds a group that pushes rank choice voting. Even at the city/town level. Places in the Midwest like iirc NE/MO have been getting it pushed in slowly. Then there's Alaska that had it voted it out then it seems they "didn't"
This definitely needs to definitely be the next places to attack.

Should also not be allowed in any national election.

In person, super special exceptions only
paper ballots
NO MAIL BALLOTS
No ballot harvesting, none
shorter early voting periods
It is not hard to make elections VERY safe and fair!

I'm no expert, just thinking out loud. Doesn't the constitution say something like federal voting/elections are determined however from each state? Therefore federal laws cannot interfere with how states run their elections?
If we want universal rules and election methods across the states, wouldn't that need a constitutional ammendment?
Just tossing out for discussion.

This sounds good, but you will never clean up the fraud in states like CA, NY, IL, MD, WA, and OR without a federal rule.
And? That's the beauty of a republic, let states rise and fall on the merits of their own ideas. Of the states you've mentioned, most are seeing outmigration or growth so anemic as to be considered a negative. Their failures serve as lessons.
Also, remember that DC leans Left so any rule coming out of there will more than likely benefit Leftists. Thus, instead of needing to clean up a handful of states you'll need to clean up Congress and then the rest of the country.

use the federal government to implement minimal election integrity laws to help get more of the good guys elected.
Again, your assumption is that any law passed would do exactly what you're expecting it to. There were a lot of Dems who regret cheering for the ACA, as an example of how poorly that can go.
And I'll state again, this is a camel's nose situation. Imagine the DEI push contaminating the FEC once the FEC gains enough authority to determine what counts as legitimate voter identification in every state. Once we start down that road, it will be impossible to get enough people elected to change it back.

The two are not mutually exclusive in this case.
