Why. Why do farmers get a break. No one else does. Unless you're on the government dole. Farmers have property unless they're leasing it which doesn't work they also claim CRP land do not farm it and get paid. They also have crop insurance which pays him whether they grow or not. No one else gets subsidies like that.

I did a prospectus for the Forest Service 10 years ago. 880 pages of proposals and every single one had to do with climate change.
Not safety, climate change. The forest service would disapprove your applications if you didnt preach climate change to your passengers or hikers.
THey turned this into a quasi religion.

Yep
Most people don’t realize because they are so far removed from farming and food production but it the absolute most important industry we have.
If we can’t eat what else matters?
Nations and countries have literally collapsed due to famine
If there is one industry where govt needs to provide some support its agriculture

I think most people would agree with that statement. However, like all things FedGov touches, that “support” has evolved into programs that manipulate the food supply and have led to farmers not being able to manage their farmlands in accordance with the market but in pursuit of government payments. Lots of these initiatives are directly related to “climate change” and need to be rolled back.

Government Subsidies are needed in the Farming Industry. Without them, there would be huge swings in supply and demand. For example, without them a loaf of bread one year might cost you 10 cents and the next year it might cost you 10 dollars!
