Unbelievable.

I stand for Americans. You stand for special interest and their political friends.

quote:

because you want China to win

win what?? what is a "win"?

You want a strategy to address some problem that does not exist for the American people.

I could care less what happens in China.

I want Americans to be free to buy goods at the best prices they can so our economy can grow and our people become richer as they have ever since WWII. I want more people working just as we have added jobs for the last 50 years. I want higher wages just as we have produced. I want other countries to take our paper money for the work and material they turned into goods at lower cost than we can make it.

I want government to be free of corruption and special interest. I want the people not to have to suffer because Wilbur Ross used his wealth to invest in the steel business and to influence Trump to fix it where steel producers could raise prices on the backs of Americans and make double and triple the profits they made last year.

If you think that is communism you are an absolute idiot.

You do realize that the Republican Party is and has historically been very anti organized labor, right?

For the record, I voted for Trump because he wasn't Hillary but IB is right on tariffs. They are bad for the economy but he definitely lets them rent too much space in his head. Trump has done more positive things than negative to me so far but he's definitely no Rand Paul. Still better than Hillary though.

Republicans are also the only ones who support coal right now and if there is no more coal power plants BNSF hauls less coal which means I could be out of a job here in Alliance Neb.

If a Democrat wins in 2020 I'm out of a job here and likely out if one for a few years until I can hold in somewhere like Tulsa

Coal is going to die with or without Trump. Sorry bud. Railroads will absolutely still be needed

I suggested "Economics in One Lesson" by Henry Hazlitt on pg 2. No takers so far.

One of my 2 degrees from LSU is in Economics but I don't work in the field.

Not as fast as it will if a Dem wins. Especially coal from Wyomings powder river basin since it mostly serves newer coal plants and it burns cleaner than Appalachian coal does.

Wages are stagnant because traditional mfg jobs are dying in the USA because we are an advanced economy. Workers who want to keep up have to upgrade skills. We're not a mfg economy any more, were dealing with information, technology and logistics.

You did nothing but demonstrate that you know less about micro economics than you do about capital markets

Congrats

Letting coal power die in America will be a mistake we will regret greatly down the road. Putting all your reliance on one source of energy is irresponsible as frick.

Maybe not and I'm not suggesting that your line of work isn't important. Simply stating that I think coal usage in the US will continue to decrease in favor of natural gas.

How come you never mention job reports or other obviously good news?

You are some sort of paid hack. I cannot fathom how anyone would ever pay attention to you.

Nothing is more dignifying that working 2 service industry jobs only to barely get by. That's the new American reality thanks to outsourcing manufacturing jobs to China all so we can have chap shite at the Dollar General.

I'll gladly pay more for a quality American made product than a shite Chinese one.

Most people prefer populist rhetoric to sound economic theory. It's disgusting
