They subscribed me to Global Security briefs while working for Uncle Sugar. They've let me keep it in my retirement.
I highly recommend it for those that seriously keep up with this kinda thing.
Anyways ...

We need a 70% force reduction in Europe. And we need to ween the Cucked Cannucks off of the U.S. Military teet and force them to pull their weight.

STUTTGART, Germany -- Department of War officials notified Allies the United States would rightsize its contributions to the NATO Force Model, consistent with the burden sharing direction in the 2026 National Defense Strategy and the Department's vision for a "NATO 3.0."
Under Secretary for War for Policy Elbridge Colby is leading this initiative to ensure Europe takes primary responsibility for its own conventional defense in response to the security threats it faces. Mr. Alexander Velez-Green, Chief of Staff and Senior Counselor to the Under Secretary of War for Policy, notified Allies during a meeting of Defense policy officials at NATO headquarters in Brussels on May 22.
"There has been an unhealthy co-dependence in the NATO Force Model on U.S. forces," said Commander, U.S. European Command U.S. Air Force Gen. Alexus G. Grynkewich, (USEUCOM). "President Trump, Secretary Hegseth and others have been clear that this needs to change, and it will change. The potential reality of simultaneous conflict in multiple theaters demands it."
Grynkewich also said the change will strengthen the Alliance's defense plans, making them more realistic and ensuring NATO is not over relying on U.S. forces required to sustain deterrence in other regions and respond in the event of other global contingencies. The change is also premised on the fact that non-U.S. NATO Allies are increasingly capable of fielding the preponderance of forces required to defend the Alliance.
Grynkewich, who also serves as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), noted the change was coordinated between his two commands - USEUCOM and Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) - over many months.
"Two areas where Canada and European Allies can step-up now and in the near term - as the United States reduces forces 'sourced' to the NATO Force Model in Europe and refocus them elsewhere - is with manned and unmanned aircraft, and with naval vessels," he said.
Allies again discussed the matter this week at SHAPE in Mons, Belgium during a force sourcing conference, June 2-3, chaired by U.K. Air Chief Marshal Sir Johnny Stringer, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
"SHAPE continues to work with Allies to offset the reduced American capabilities," said Grynkewich, who as SACEUR addressed representatives today from the Alliance's 32 militaries at the conference. "Allies have been stepping up. And nations have an opportunity to contribute and send a clear message of strength and commitment to our common defense ahead of July's NATO Summit in Ankara."
