Irans choices are based upon Shia beliefs and nothing else. Them starting of a war/wars is seen as a mechanism for the return of the 12th Imam to rule the world. The mullahs and ayatollahs don't give one frick about the cost in lives to achieve this theological vision to the world.

Huh? That'd take a change to the UN Charter, and I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Also, I'd like to see the G-20 suspend Russia. That'd be a bigger message if the other BRICs stand against Russia. The next summit is in Australia, so they could prevent any Russians from attending.

They are running a massive anti-west/US propoganda campaign in Russia right now. An article I read indicated its far beyond what was seen even during the Cold War at any point.
To be a hero you have to have a villian right?
