'Uranium One' in this context is a polysemous term. i.e., company, scandal, or both. The OP pretext in no way was limited to the company in isolation. Simple really. I assumed you'd somehow misunderstood that though. Turbeauxdog's notations made clear I'd assumed incorrectly.
Your strawman knowingly references Uranium One as if it or its purchase were disassociated from any related Russian corruption.
