Won’t this prevent blacks from ever having that “generational wealth” I hear some pissing and moaning about?
The goal isn’t helping the poor move up. They want to push the crabs getting out back down so the other crabs feel better about being failures.

Oh, that’s what they say but it’s not where they are aiming.
They want 75% confiscation of wealth from deceased citizens of non color!
Reparations will happen!

assets to be donated to a charity annually.
Yes, but there's a workaround for this too. They set up donor advised funds and thus are still able to control where the money goes.
Furthermore, some people will use it the other way around as well to a donorized phone for the tax break, then "donate" to their family foundations

Two words- Living Trust
My grandmother left myself and 2 cousins land that currently worth 500K. We are in the process of putting it in a trust for several reasons. If anyone of us ever gets sued, sick or dies it protects the other members. It’s really not expensive to get an attorney to do it. Anyone with assets should look to protect themselves.

No chance to get through Congress and only solidifies the GOP chances of taking the house and probably senate next year.
In case you didn’t notice, the socialists with their Rino friends passed Obammy care. When the R’s had a chance to repeal Obammy care they left that BS in place. I guess my point is don’t ever say or believe that the Dim Marxists can’t pull their shite legislation off.

An America where your kids can't afford to keep your money
I am a conservative, but I’ve long been in favor of high inheritance taxes. I think people should keep more of what they earn and get less handed to them.
My wife and I willed each of our kids a sum of money that is about what an upper middle class kid would expect to get from his parents’ estate; the rest goes to charities (National Review and Heritage Foundation chief among them). I don’t want my kids getting more than that. Inheriting lots of money is about losing, not getting. When one inherits lots of money one loses the chance to fight one’s way up in life. That’s a big loss.
I have known a number of people who inherited huge amounts and always knew they would. About 80% of them are ruined. There are a couple of notable exceptions, but that’s it.

That is a very sensible reason to consider a Living Trust.

Don’t hide the ball. What is the situs of the gates foundation?

Now, translate that to a $250 BILLION charity, completely off-shored, after year one.
I respect your posts, but I don’t think you understand how the tax law works here. If you’re alleging something nefarious….fill us in.

You’re saying a private foundation donates its 5 percent to a daf? A private foundation has more control over where funds go than a daf. Not sure what you’re describing.
