I was being facetious. Still, it's not about dominating Europe per se. It's about securing the geographic access points into the Russian heartland, specifically the Polish and Bessarabian Gaps, while they still somewhat have the demography to engage in offensive military action. Either way you slice it, this is Russia's last significant conventional war. My personal preference is to see this through in Ukraine, then withdraw from NATO and leave Europe to its own devices. We no longer have strategic interests there.

I'm horrible at math, but while regaining 10%,l of their total land area, it could also be calculated as reclaiming 40% of what Russia took since the invasion. 10/25=.40 * 100 = 40%.
That's objectively a consequential number. If I did the math right. Big if.
