Extremist factions within the opposition + propaganda from the ousted government =/= Hitler 2: Electric frickaroo. And again, even if this guy took total control of the government, do you really think that Ukrainian armies of darkness would be marching all over Europe? Me neither.

And Historical fact shows the opposition is led by a neo-nazi fascist. That is again far from saying what you said.

My side? We are talking about your dialogue with someone else. I'm on neither side in terms of ideology. You were most definitely more aggressive and irrational, which is probably why she backed away.

I was speaking to a senior NATO official yesterday in Latvia where I live and work. He said that there is belief that the so-called rebels (the ones being described as Nazis and bad guys and snipers) are actually Russian special forces "acting" bad to discredit the new Ukranian government and make them out to be far right and fascist and so on.
People may be falling for a big KGB disinformation plot here.
He does not say that this is disinformation 100 percent. Just to be very very very very very very careful about believing ANYTHING you hear and not jumping to conclusions.

Went back and read my responses to "her" and...nope not irrational or aggressive. I was attacked for loving W which is odd because I think he was an idiot and have said so many times. Not possible. Russia wouldn't lie! There is no way that a former KGB officer would send troops with no insignia into another country and then denied they are Russian. Or that they would plant pro-Russian supporters in demonstrations. Or use operatives to incite violence or propaganda to smear the opposition to his rule. Putin plays one hell of a game and he's very good at it.

shrug, we have been backing pretty bad dudes since the end of the second world war.
As long as the bad dude was helping us make a buck...we back them...and when they stop...we colonize their country, ask sadaam, ask noriega...

Still can't figure out why we gave up on Castro. Cuba would be a nice beach spot and a lot easier to get to than Puerto Rico.

Shrug, and why have we been able to do that? Because it's never in the collective narrative. It's never at the forefront of the media's attention.
