Not sure I believe this. When we went on vacation a few weeks ago, the option was available to me but I have my gender set to Man in the Uber app. This was a regular occurrence over the course of 2 weeks.

I didn't say it's not on their website. I'm saying that option was available to me. I never selected it, ao maybe it would have rejected me at that point.
ETA: Just opened the app and "Women Drivers" is still available to me right now.

So, if I were an Uber driver, I would just need to set my gender to female as a biological male without any effort to change my physical appearance, and I would be allowed to drive women who request only female drivers.

From what I can tell, nothing is stopping a rapist from ordering a woman delivered in the form of an uber driver.
