I didn't know this.
So Costco can only have beer and wine in Texas. I've been seeing bourbon videos where people video what they find at Costco. I've only seen beer and wine. Now it makes sense.

I live in MN. My uncle and I used to connect over “olive soup”, ie, dirty martinis. He liked Tito’s, so I kept telling him Sam’s has the best price for it ($26 for a handle). He said Sam’s didn’t carry it. I thought he just didn’t know how to go around the side to the liquor store part of the building.

Then I found Kirkland French vodka, and told him it was an even better buy. Indistinguishable from Gray Goose, and $19 for 1.75L.

Again, he says Costco doesn’t have it.

Sent me down the rabbit hole where I found this law.

I hate laws that do nothing more than protect a business model at the expense of a solution that’s better for the customer.
