TX cop removed after false arrest

A guy I worked with many yrs ago told me that the worst thing you can do in municipal policing force is pay them poorly and then give them a gun. Their only satisfaction becomes pushing people around

I'm very pro-cop but I'm not stupid. I've had a couple of run-ins with some real losers in my time. One was parked in a low-traffic road in a suburb after a hurricane where a tree had fallen, forcing you to cross a double-yellow line into the other lane to get around it. So he pulled me over for crossing the double-yellow line, but he was at least smart enough to not issue me a ticket.
