No

You good with banning accessories because they’re scary?

Lets see, which is worse for Americans banning something that few gun owners use on a regular basis vs. a law that allows the Fla govt to flag ANYONE they deem a threat, and then legally confiscate their guns?

Bump stocks are gun stocks with a mechanism for rapid firing of a semi-automatic firearm

Because DeSoros is quite pleased with the 2018 red flag laws Fla passed, and did nothing to repeal them in 4 years

Florida's red-flag law has been employed nearly 6,000 times since 2018

Neither one of those are positives, but only one of them was active in putting the restriction in place. Your dude also wanted more. A lot more.

Do you need the Florida legislative process explained to you?

Keep trying to spin this shite for Trump, but he's been fricking terrible on the Second Amendment.

Meanwhile, what's DeSantis actually done for those rights in Florida? Any thoughts on that, RobbBro?

...and that's just a few gems that came after Trump started pretending he was a Republican and Second Amendment supporter.

I love how you walk right into it EVERY, SINGLE TIME

WESH: Florida's red-flag law has been employed nearly 6,000 times since 2018

Ole Ron took office in Jan 2019

Action News Jax: Florida’s red flag law used nearly 9,000 times to date, 254 times in Duval

Florida Politics
quote:

The state has used the Risk Protection Order nearly 6,000 times. The law saves lives. And a bipartisan coalition of 20 U.S. Senators reached the framework on a gun safety package, and it includes elements of Florida’s red flag law.

CNN: Florida’s red flag law, championed by Republicans, is taking guns from thousands of people

WFTV: Since the law was passed in 2018, it has been used almost 9,000 times for temporary risk protection orders and almost 6,000 times for final risk protection orders.

Spectator World: Basic red flag laws are judicially sound, and have, for example, been used in Florida nearly 6,000 times since 2018 and survived a state Supreme Court challenge there

Weird.

Are you saying this law predates DeSantis as governor?

I'm saying . . . .

* He hasnt repealed it
* His admin successfully defended in to the Supreme Court
* It has been used over 9,000 times under his watch
* 6,000 people have lost their right to bear arms in Fla, with his help and blessing
* And when a DIM is guv of Fla, they will target conservatives with it

but, muh bump stocks, right?

Just say that you're completely ignorant how that happens. You've demonstrated as much repeatedly. It's time for you to stop making this point. It makes you look like an idiot.

I love that you make this point, while completely ignoring Trump enabling Biden with his stupidity.

Imagine thinking it was "just bump stocks."

Now tell me one more time how its Trumps fault that Obamacare didnt get repealed, or the wall didnt get built, or that he couldnt get true conservatives through the nomination process, or how his agenda wasnt sidetracked by an impeachment process

This only works if those are points that I've made.

I'm glad that you're at least learning something here.

I tried to tell you that I'd bust your arse on this topic, RobbBro. You should've listened.

NRA will take anyone's money to be a life member. Most organization's would.

When did Trump become a member much less a Life Member?

Plus the NRA never addressed their and Trump's acceptance of the bump stock ban.

I say this an NRA Life Member, who no longer donates to them (thanks to LaPierre and the bumpstock fiasco).

Also a GOA Life Member and donater to FPC and SAF.

I've never owned a bump stock

But when I read that the state of Fla has used red flag laws to permanently remove guns from over 6,000 residents, I see far more of a threat in DeSantis to my 2A rights

SAF, FPC, GOA, etc.

The best thing NRA does is keep attention off of better organizations who are actually fighting for the Second Amendment.

I don't want to read the whole thread, but in short - is he pretending to be twisted about Florida Red Flag legislation that was signed into law by Governor Crist, who is Trump's new model Florida governor?
