Yes remember all details of that day. In 5th grade class and neighbors (classmates’ mom) came to tell you what happened. Remember 9/11 as I was working for agency going through JCAHO that exact morning awaiting their arrival!! Will always be days to remember.

In regards to handling plurality, each of us choose our own methods. I used to be caught up in the rat race and all the varying folks that came along with it, but decided to take a more private route at age 50. I moved to a remote County in farm country, started homesteading, and basically confined myself to this small rural community. So I guess you could say I decided to be a semi-isolationist. I still travel when I want, and to make $ to get by on... but I mostly avoid people. I find life to be much better being around my pack of dogs, focusing on my faith, and being a Watchman on this American mess from afar.

You Sir... are 100% correct. Your knowledge and wisdom are extremely impressive in this age of spoon-fed indoctrination.

I've always felt that I was born in the wrong era. Or perhaps my God-given Spirit (Light) is still clinging to a past life when individual freedom was abound in America. This latest run, in this consciousness vessel, has lived a life in American persecution (500,000+ laws, massive financial burden, police state on every corner, corrupt Rulers, etc.).

Can't wait to join my Spiritual Father in his Glorious Kingdom and be done with this latest run in Hell on Earth.

Good post. I am similar in age. The biggest issue today is the total lack of tolerance and with the overwhelming access to 24 hour information and the social media tools that enable everyone to rant off. Democracy is designed for compromise and inclusion. Ideological purity and deafness to other points of view has complexly divine the country and the planet.

I'm 72 and I can remember all the way back to when JFK was assassinated. I thought that was the saddest day ever until 9/11 occurred.

The JFK assassination was sad but 9/11 was 3000 times as sad and it has changed America in a way that young people today can't even imagine.

You should want to live as long as you can so you can dance on the graves of all your enemies who die before you do because I can guarantee that they'll be dancing on your grave if you die before them.

At 6 (roughly) you remember that day and where you were? Genuinely?

I remember exactly when and where I was when the Challenger exploded and I was 6 then.
