Big Marco, come on down

Although I personally don’t agree with the activities Tucker mentioned, it does indicate a society’s level of “freedom”. I’m pretty sure Iran is against the same kinds of things.

You are using this opportunity to pile on because you dislike him instead of evaluating the words and context of what he said. This is contrary to your actions that you would normally do when the target is someone who agrees with your position. This is exactly why the board calls you out.
You don't use your analytical power equally.

No. I said a long time ago he jumped the shark.
Like with most things, it took a while for people to catch up
Tucker used to be fine but became a major grifter without any principles while on his last run on Fox. He's gone further off the rails doing his own thing.

Wait...what?

Can you name a more socially conservative nation in SA? You didn't even respond to the call for that. What nation is more socially conservative?

Why would this be a variable of significance? That's the absurdity of his argument.
Posted on 1/3/26 at 9:28 pm to SlowFlowPro
Because it is the quote in his statement that you were piling on to. Is he wrong?

Have to wonder, at this point, who Tucker's audience is now. He was huge. Certainly can't be as large as for his former persona.

Yes, they got the quote correct.
That just legitimizes the absurdity of the point he's trying to make and that he's off the rails.

That is not even relevant to the discussion.
If you think the argument is that he's factually incorrect, you've lost the plot.

That’s an old clip. He’s not wrong, just conveniently left out all of the other stuff occurring in Maduro’s Venezuela

Surely you are correct. He is a great thinker and speaker. His words are carefully chosen and you have to understand the context and situation. Sound bites taken from his interviews are guaranteed to trigger emotion without listening to the full interview.
He is not built for 20 second clips. It is a deep dive. I know many reactionaries disagree, but they always will as long as twitter and other social media continues to drive dopamine rewards on short clips.

If I am not evaluating something on facts, what am I evaluating it on? Emotions?

Tucker said this about a month ago.
This isn't his response to what happened yesterday.
More clickbait bullshite that you and the chimps fell for.

Whether it's about our military action or not, it's still an absurd stance.
Dictators restricting freedoms go hand in hand. Trying to spin it as "social conservatism" is a bad look. Always.

Trying to spin it as Tucker's response to what happened last night is worse. Because that means you will go to any lengths to discredit a political opponent.
The woke right!

It isn't spin. Whether dictator or not, it was the most socially conservative nation in SA.

The Muslim countries are equally socially conservative, Tucker. Idiot…
