d. I'm talking about tariffs from an economic standpoint, not a political one.

How can it not be political??? Everything economic is political.

Trump clearly told the tards that the tariffs would be eaten by the producer, and he lied to the people.

His loyalists Still believe the tariffs will be eaten, and not passed along.

Sure it was. He claimed Chinese companies had higher margins.

Higher than who? Wouldn’t you need to post that data as well? Then you came to a conclusion about selling by at a loss based upon margins. You don’t know what you don’t know Roger. The single data point you provided is useless on its own. You’re here quadrupling down on it. Amazing. You prove, once again, to be a binary thinker.

the least important part of my post. Tell us you tacitly agree to your limited capacity without telling us you tacitly agree with your limited capacity.

I love paying 5.4% more for my imported goods, truly blessed to be able to.

The "net benefit to the US" will be in the form of job creation and domestic manufacturing at the expense of the consumer.

I don’t doubt there is a price to be borne by the US consumer - but if the net result is a healthier economy, more and better jobs for middle and lower income citizens - then I can get behind that.

Jesus, Roger. I posted about data points and you default to your usual insecurity fueled BS. Get ahold of yourself.

Not necessarily - just making less profit than they originally projected. Systems aren’t static and can adapt.

Its not confusing at all.

Companies paying a 47% tariff, some will lose money on individual product lines without passing on the cost.

The cost will be/is passed to consumers.

We understand you think this will happen 100 percent of the time despite being taught otherwise. You’re a binary thinker. You can’t comprehend what is being told to you.
