No tariff controversy exists. He ran and won on tariffs. This is no secret.

This is simply media and filth driven to attack OMB.

4 years, 8 trillion more in debt.

I know how "great" he is. He requires massive debt to grow the economy.

No one wants to hear the truth

But Trump's first term was just maintaining the momentum of the Obama administration with deficit spending fueling the growth

In 2018 manufacturing was at a ten year low

The jobs that Obama said weren't coming back did in fact not come back. In fact they reduced in number.

I agree, but not with your verbiage. This was Trumps plan all along. He dropped a "bomb" and got everyone's attention. Now, as each country sits with Trump to negotiate, they walk in with their eyes wide open. Now, other countries know Trump isn't playing by the same ole rules. Trump is writing a new rule book and other countries will have to play by these new rules or not have access to the US market.
This is how Trump operates and it seems pretty damn effective!
I dont understand why folks continue to underestimate Trump.

Grok:

Thus, based on verified data, foreign investment pledges in the U.S. since Trump won the presidency are at least $100 billion (TSMC), with potential totals reaching $1.7 trillion to $2.924 trillion as claimed in less-verified sources, pending further official clarification. These figures reflect sentiment and announcements within Trump’s first 75 days in office, but the full scope remains subject to ongoing documentation and economic reporting.
