It really just depends on where the technology came from. If it is purely homegrown, I do believe that technology was likely developed, in part, by Trump's uncle. Piggybacking off the work done by Tesla.
If it came from somewhere else, then yes, Trump is some sort of cosmic super hero. Either way you look at it, Trump is behind the release. It's undeniable. They opened up about them under his watch. He has said we have "the most powerful weapons in the universe and we are going to start using them." He has also said, "I don't think there is anyone in the world who knows more about technology than me."
Like it or not, Trump is part of this release. Previous POTUSes tried to get to the bottom of this and were flatly denied. But not Trump.
If that makes him some sort of cosmic super hero then so be it. It's just another thing that you anti-Trump retards are just going to have to come to terms with in time.

Trump is connected to him through his uncle John. John Trump was an electrical engineering professor at MIT who was tasked with reviewing Tesla's work and determining what was worthy of further development and what wasn't.

Nah. They actually asked Trump about all of it after the Pentagon came clean about the tictac buzzing the USS Nimitz. He danced around the question a bit. He didn't want to discuss it. But he did acknowledge it as real.
Contrary to popular belief, Trump isn't reckless when it comes to shite like that. He is very calculating.
