Now this is something I can agree with. We've done about as well as can be done with it and Trump deserves credit for that, but ISIS is based on an ideal and that ideal will never be wiped out completely. There are a bunch of little orphaned boys over there that will grow up one day and perhaps share the same views as their terrorist fathers. We'd just have to go at them again and hopefully succeed again...may well depend on who's in office at the time.

he took away their bases and safe houses but they are still very much a hoard of cockroaches hiding behind the walls.
they just dont have safe places to openly meet, hang out, and train recruits out in the open any more,
the war isnt over but this is a very significant reduction in their ability to organize and fight back
