I mean the liberals can't have it both ways. Either Trump and the GOP behind him are an existential threat to pluralistic liberal democracy who must be eliminated (electorally though screw-loose types may read it otherwise) or the rhetoric stated previously is too inciting and actually we're All MAGA Now.

Furthermore, there is increasing mainstream media coverage that the shooter was a at a minimum conservative leaning according to those who knew him. And frankly, I think libs don't have enough balls to do a politically motivated killing because they're too obsessed with norms and decorum. Maybe a communist or anarchist group could have done something like this but those types with a real militia footing essentially do not exist in the US in significant numbers anymore since the FBI purged them over the 70s and 80s. And certainly whatever seed funding they had dried up when the USSR-led Comintern died.

I dunno this is all very weird. Of course a communist sympathizer killing Kennedy seemed pretty weird too.

I’ve yet to see anyone mention the water tower. Couple of guys up there and this guy never gets a round off. Total incompetence or intentional negligence.
