As pointed out in another thread, his constant attack on the NFL (a private institution) is troubling in itself. But, just the other day when he said that the NFL would not allow players to stay in the locker rooms for our National Anthem, his totalitarianism was (again) poking through.

I just want you folks to admit that if he had the ability, that's exactly how he'd have it. Trump uses your respect for the President and America to follow him. Do yourself a favor and don't mistaken that with his allegiance to America. I'm not necessarily saying that he isn't a "proud American", but what I am saying is that he does not respect his role as the President of our country. He loves and respects himself first. All Hail Trump!

So we must guard against tyranny through spying, surveillance, the NSA and CIA right? Trump' s Presidency will end one day, but the Permanent State will live on. They are the real threat to this country.

How hard is it to simply meet the terms of the contract? The NFL is contractually obligated to the national anthem display due to the contract THEY WILLINGLY SIGNED with the DOD under a previous administration.

Quite the totalitarian. I'm really concerned he might weaponize the IRS against certain political groups he doesn't like...

So he is achieving total supremacy by:
1. Giving taking way less from us in taxes
2. Making sure the govt doesn’t further restrict our current right to have weapons
3. Selecting judges who uphold the Constitution and don’t try to legislate by the bench
4. Be a proponent of religious freedom
5. Help private business by making the govt less a part of their daily struggle

Seems like a terrible formula for ultimate supremacy unless by supremacy you mean the people actually like the direction of the country.

The NFL has not and will not stop playing the anthem. They changed their own bi-laws to let the players protest in the locker rooms.

Trump is helping the common American in almost every way possible. Don't care about the social issues. Just keep winning.

He has done nothing that a previous republican in office didn't do or try to do.

None of that changes who Trump is or how he would truly govern our country if he could.
