After reading the replies to this post, I still believe Trump cannot win the election in 2024 if he decides to run. I am not a Republican; I am registered as No Party. Don't underestimate Trump's ability to screw things up. If his ego encourages him to announce his candidacy before the 2022 midterm elections, the expected Red Wave will not materialize. The crashing of the US economy will not turn Democrats to Trump. His unchanging abrasive personality will not turn Independents (especially white women) to Trump. Jumping into the race before November will spur Democrat turnout. Gaining control of the Senate and/or House will become much harder, if impossible.

Trump supporters should realize turning back to the past is not a pathway to success in the future. There is no assurance that trump can or will govern more effectively in a 2nd term. He has questionable judgment in making crucial personnel decisions. His years of running the Trump empire as a one-man king with no one to question him did not prepare him for the US Presidency.

Again I say TRUMP CANNOT WIN THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL RACE. The future of our nation is at stake if Democrats retain control of the White House and Congress. The degradation that began under Biden will only get worse. The goal of Liberal Democrats and Independents (Bernie Sanders supporters) is Globalization and a New World Order. A return to pure Capitalism and Constitutional rights is not their goal - it is their nemesis. People on this board, get your head out of your arse and face reality. Time for the USA is running out if we continue on the present course.

Great long form summary of all the canned criticisms of Trump here in the past couple of months. Let us know if you run across any new thoughts that are perhaps a bit more legit.

I agree. I love the guy and wish he were in power right now, but I personally know many people who dislike him so much because of his attitude and ego that they refuse to vote for him regardless of the situation. I'm not saying they are right or even smart, but votes are votes and when people are put off by you personally, so much so to not vote for you, it might be time for the better of the country to put your endorsement behind someone else.

I have a dem friend who voted for Obama and Biden but would not vote for Biden again. He said " If the Republicans would put up anyone respectful I would cross over and vote for them, but I just can't vote for trump.

What’s the count on people you know who will refuse to vote for any Democrat due to the injuries they’ve personally experienced during this Democrat administration? If that number of people is greater than the never Trump ones, we’re sitting pretty with Trump then.

Thanks for your response....it could have just stayed that way instead of becoming an entirely new thread.
