Smart move by Trump. Playing politics instead of emotion. Isn't this what we've looking for?

I think people are just enjoying the new narrative. For months we've all heard that Trump has learned his lesson, he'll never work with people like Nikki again, her wing of the party is finished, she's dead to Trump etc...

NEOCON NUTRIA RAT (Haley) must have decided to throw in the towel on her campaign

I’m sick and tired of hearing this bullshite garbage about Nikki Haley

So when Trump says

quote:

Well I think she's going to be on our team because we have a lot of the same ideas, the same thoughts...She's a very capable person

Now the narrative is shifting and it's funny to watch.

You've been trying to play this game for most of the year.

It's weird.

Trump and DeSantis went after each other and now they are on the same team. Was that a funny narrative shift?

This thread, in my response to you, is the first time I have ever typed the word “Tate”. You picked a really strange hill to die on. Especially with me. You do you, though. I’ll have to live with the fact that you don’t believe me. It will be tough, but I’m a survivor.

Not as funny but it is entertaining watching the "DeSantis has ruined his career" crowd suddenly warming to the idea of him being on Trump's ticket or campaigning on his behalf or working together.

Going from "DeSantis sucks" to "DeSantis is actually a great governor" just because Trump says it, is entertaining to watch.

Your thoughts on DeSantis’ 180? I, for one, didn’t think “DeSantis sucks”. He just wasn’t my preferred candidate. That really gets y’all upset. That is what is funny to watch.

When they repeatedly make excuses for Lindsey fricking Graham sharing the stage, you know that ethics is very far down the list for them.

I think that's the way a lot of Trump followers feel. The problem is that for some (certainly the very online), there isn't a line he can cross that would have them re-evaluate their loyalty to him.

Neo-cons, amnesty, money for Ukraine, letting felons out of prison... you either tether yourself directly to Trump and move with him or you have your own personal convictions.

I don't know if it's really analogous to anything with Haley here, though.

Two words, John Bolton.

Sessions was also a mistake, as were Barr, Wray and any other mainstay ghoul who occupied a position in that admin.

Its a collective of losers.
