I didn't have a shite fit. I just sat back and watched the checks and balances of our government in action. Seem like you're the one having a shite fit tonight.

Well, first off, to identify ME areas as "muslim countries" is accurate but shallow. For instance, Iran is a Muslim country and so is Saudi Arabia and yet, in terms of global implications, the sit opposed on nearly every single issue. This means that building relations with one will cause soured relations with the other.

Second, being invited doesn't guarantee anything in terms of better foreign policy in the Middle East (which we so desperately need). Trump's Adminstration has been all over the place in terms of foreign relations in the Middle East that no one can confidently identify the goal of the discussions from the US perspective nor how certain regimes will react to Trump's back and forth in Syria.

Now, while I agree that having open lines of communication is a good thing, that doesn't necessarily result in positive change. Nor can we even speculate as to potential foreign policy moves because his of inconsistency of his State Department.

Trump was just invited to an all Muslim country security conference. The first American president to be invited. He's doing something right.

More than just "invited", benc; heard the Fox guy John something that covers Trump say that the streets are lined with Trump posters/photos. They love the guy; just like Trump's supporters do. Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt are all on board with Trump's plan facing down the Iranian threat.

If the Progs are going to take Trump out...they'd better hurry up.

There's that political IQ showing again. So improved relations with the Muslim world wouldn't positively affect our country. Idiot.
You shouldn't insult a person's "political" intelligence by taking a question and creating a straw man to justify your insult. That's counter to an intelligent response.

No he resorted to insults and asked the question. He also touted his political IQ. The Muslim conference is actually happening and it's not a straw man.

Nothing will break my faith in our country. If Trump has to leave, it will be because he earned it. Our country will be fine. It took this for Nixon to resign https://watergate.info/chronology

I would lose all faith assuming no new facts emerge and assuming the same standards applied to Trump aren't applied to HRC and Obama.

I can't differentiate many of these allegations from what other POTUSs have done.

It would be a political coup in the same way we get involved in global elections and cause a leader to be deposed. I'd lose faith in the system and if it happened and my congressman didn't fight for Trump I would tell him I WILL ACTIVELY CAMPAIGN AGAINST YOU in whatever way I could.

The US would be no different than Egypt.

I'd lose all faith in the justice system in this country. Generally unfounded accusations aren't considered grounds for an investigation. It's supposed to defend people in some ways as well as act as the enforcement arm of our laws.

I will have no faith left in our "system".
