I think he's honestly in his element when he has control of the mic and can't get sidetracked by the expected "decorum" and back-and-forth setting of a more formal setting like a debate. When Trump unilaterally has the floor, he projects so much better. And for someone who grew up as privileged as he did, it's pretty amazing how great he is at speaking to people of all different walks of life. He may be a bit a showman, but for the liberals who thinks he's an idiot, the joke is on them. The dude has mountains of street smarts and the ability to know and read his audience.

Remember when they were asking all the dim candidates at the debates "are you going to give healthcare to illegals...?"
