in past elections, trump would spend october giving stump speaches is states like pennsylvania, michigan, and wisconsin. with him going to oklahoma and alabama, it is a very bad sign.

I live in the same county as Durant and will probably attend.
My wife is the highest gaming tier level so I might see if she can get a few comped rooms and meals out there for that night.
If anyone does make it to Durant and hasn't been before, there's a few decent restaurants for thw town of its size and you could hit up a striper guide service Thursday morning before the event.

I live in Bryan County and have to go to Durant twice a month to go to the feed store, the weed store and a few other stops.
I'd say 90% of the people in Durant call it Durant. The country people out in the surrounding counties call it Doorant.

Choctaw Nation Chief Gary Batton has issued a statement regarding Trumps upcoming visit on Oct 1st.
"This marks the third time the Choctaw Nation has had the Honor of welcoming a sitting U.S. President to our reservation.
We hope his visit provides an opportunity to learn more about the work we do as a sovereign nation to serve our Tribal members and contribute to the well-being of communities throughout Southeast Oklahoma.
The Trump 47 committee is renting our facility, just as any private organization may. Hosting an event at a Choctaw Nation venue does not imply support for or endorsement of any group, individual, or political campaign by the Choctaw Nation or its elected officials.
We appreciate the cooperation and partnership of local, State, and Federal officials as they assist in preparing for the event."
