Trump playing Texit angle?

With Trump in Alamo today it got me thinking if this is where he's going to launch his next phase.

There's a lot of secession talk going around, Trump is still relatively popular there and a lot of tech (friendly and unfriendly) is considering TX as a landing spot post-California.

He could retire quietly, could start a media empire, or make some roots in Texas pushing Texit to a receptive MAGA crowd. There could still be a media company, based there.

It seems like one of the more viable options for him at this point.

Too much blue in the shaft. If the taint could form a separate state, they might secede.

Trump won Texas by a little over 5%. Romney won it by 12+%. Either he's not nearly as popular as you think or that state is much closer to purple than people want to admit.
