Did my weekly check this morning. Some items are double the price they were last week.

I spent 59 last week on the same exact list I spent 80 on this morning.

The "Panican" Brigaders will be here any minute to re-calibrate your hallucination and "Wrong-Think".

I checked about 40 random items not on my list. This may shock the very average people who post here, but you can easily do this online yourself weekly

You’re somewhere in the frozen tundra of Alaska, of course things will cost more.

I’m in a grocery store 2-3 times/week. There’s a Harris Teeter and a Publix across the street from each other. I shop sales at both places.

Some things are always cheaper/more expensive at one than the other.

Beef is more expensive across the board, other than ground 80/20 I haven’t bought beef in quite a while.

Bought a couple of 3 lb bulk packs of ground turkey for $9.99 each. $3.33/lb isn’t bad, I broke them down, bagged them into 1 lb packs, put them in the freezer.

Same with skinless boneless chicken breast, $2.99/lb on sale.

You have to shop smart. Plus at Teeter you get gas points, I’ll often have .20-.30 off per gallon.

I'm pretty average in every way, never claimed anything else.

Which is what makes your opinions utterly embarrassing. You cant even reach average.

Another geographic faux pas..

I can walk to three grocery stores, one is literally next door to me.

I also have two 17 year old girls in the household, I have to shop "smart."

That's the best you could come back with? Plagiarizing me? An average person could do better.

How much?

Prime numbers are only divisible by themselves and 1. Prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17.....

Let's assume there is some last prime number n.

If we multiply all of the primes up to and including n (2*3*5*7*11*13*17*... (n)) we get some number x. If we then add 1 to x get a number y that is not divisible by any of the primes from 2 to n. Therefore we have created a new prime number y.

This is called proof by contradiction.

Why do you think US companies offshored low level mfg?

You dont have to think hard, this should be a gimme.

Wait wait wait. Now your argument is going to be that they have to pay US workers more? You're shifting goal posts in the course of just 2 posts?

Gotta be a new record there. You're a clown.

No, my argument is that we offshore low margin shite to manufacture high margin shite.

And its not my argument, its textbook conservative economics.

In economics, low-level manufacturing is often offshored to countries with lower labor costs and more lenient regulations to produce higher margin manufacturing. This strategy allows companies to capitalize on reduced costs and skilled workers, enabling greater control over manufacturing activities.

The statement is a reasonable description of offshoring, but it contains a factual inaccuracy: offshoring is a strategy to reduce costs and increase profits, not necessarily to produce higher-margin manufacturing. The strategy involves moving low-skilled, labor-intensive manufacturing and operations to countries with lower labor costs and less stringent regulations to lower costs and increase profits.

I checked my list, and nothing has doubled in price.

Roger is a lying sack of shite. Go Figure.

Anyone thinking you were going to get prices below what they were 6-7 years ago is just retarded.
