Not only should we pull out of THAT shitehole, we should pull out of South Korea and a lot of other places where we have troops.
Force those people to defend themselves, they can afford it. Now nothing says we can't help. or we can't sell them arms, but it's time to bring our troops home.
We have 24, 000 men in South Korea.Eff that. Almost 35, 000 in Germany. Russians aren't coming through the Fulda Gap. 12, 000 in Italy? 40K in Japan? Damn. I could go on and on.

We’re approaching the 100 year anniversary of the Second World War. Zero reason for us to have any military presence in Europe.

When I was an ROTC cadet at LSU, I was given a valuable piece of advice:
Always listen to your NCOs. They’re the ones who really know what’s going on in the field.
