What is affordable in the nation today exactly?

Groceries? nope
Cars? definitely nope
Property taxes? nope
Airfare? nope
Gasoline? inching lower

Seriously, can anyone answer this truthfully with a straight face? GOP should've been a shoe-in for the midterms but they chose to frick around and do absolutely zero.

Are you incapable of posting about the topic of this thread? This is a leftist type whataboutism.

.......

So pharma has committed another 20 billion to manufacturing drugs here in the US instead of abroad. This brings the total commitment up to over 630 billion. This is excellent news.

Kind of like invoking Kamala or Biden after any slightly negative Trump post, right? Classic whataboutism. And always good to derail a disccusion. Not that you would ever do something like that...

Nope…idlewatcher is correct. If Rs don’t do something about the cost of health insurance, are we going to be outraged when “Medicare for all” becomes reality?

Sorry, dancing around the edges on prescription drugs is nice and all but it still does nothing about the core issue

The last time he had the pharma CEOs in the White House he said his next step was to gather the insurance CEOs and talk to them about lowering premiums. Hopefully we get some word on that soon.

So getting butt raped by Americans is better than butt raped by foreigners?

Well apparently completely fricking up the entire health insurance market isn't too damning to election chances. It should be much better to do nothing then.

They're driving down the cost of prescription drugs. Which, what they have already done to date is more than any other administration has ever done.

This is excellent news and it is telling seeing who all still finds a reason to shite on news like this. They are biased hacks. One and all.

Even if true- how does any of that help affordability?

My groceries are cheaper than they were for YEARS under Biden...
Cars? I didn't buy one under Biden and won't be buying one under Trump. Vehicles have been getting more expensive every year anyway. More tech, higher price tags, and dealerships trapping people with extended financing.
Property Taxes? The President sets local property taxes?
Airfare? I fly frequently and haven't really noticed that significant of fare increases. Usually depends on where and when you fly.
Gasoline? Still cheaper than it was under Biden and getting lower again where I live.
