Can you tell us why Scalia was an activist? Maybe an opinion or two that gave you that impression?
Lawrence vs Texas is a great example. I would throw in the Bush-Gore recount and Rapanos as well.
If you want to see real activism.. he criticized the majority in Lawrence because he believed they "signed on to the so-called homosexual agenda"

This reminder of Ferris Beuller couls very well become RBG. A few look outs for the republican party need to stake out her home, the funeral parlors and the hospitals to find out if she is indeed alive. I put nothing past a liberal to delay any chance for Trump to name another conservative. I think the libs would kill to preserve this to not happen.

Come on down Amy Barrett. If that happens, and he replaces RBG with Barrett, it will the most epic f’cking thing any president has done this century...
Very true. If politics were a scale from 1 to 10 with liberal a 1 and Conservative/constructionist a 10 RBG would be a 1. Amy Barrett would be an 8 or 9. That type of swing hasn't happened on a replacement justice in a long, long time. In part because RBG is so far left.

How would the Bush - Gore recount qualify as activism?

I have. You presented that as if it was a noteworthy point amongst others in her position., though. I was just wondering why and in comparison to whom.

Because he inexplicably departed from his mantra of judicial restraint, comity, and federalism to effectively elect Bush president
They even called it a "single use" decision and made sure that it did not apply to recounts in other situations or states.

Seems like the right call. Scalia’s quickness to support police searches and power always bothered me more than anything else.
