This is the whiner's thread, no need to check it again. Hopefully they will stay here

Interest rates are traditionally EXTREMELY average. We just had a period of very low interest rates. ETA: Those interest rates were artificially kept low by government and directly caused high inflation. What people don't understand is that interest rates are based on risk/ reward with lending money. The risk to lend money at sub 5% is extremely high and the reward is extremely low. You can naturally sell bonds because the risk/reward is reasonable when interest rates are 6-7%. People will invest in things like bonds for a 4-6% ROI and then banks and lenders can make their cut on top of that.
I’ve heard this argument constantly all from older folks. Homes were cheaper so higher interest rates were doable. Now that majority of homes are unaffordable as wages haven’t kept up with inflation. People can no longer afford a 7% interest rate on a beginner home.

-Too focused on foreign policy
-Not developing a plan to bring down prices and completely ignoring the issues
-Also ignoring the high interest rates
-Touting investments that won’t be seen in 5 years
-Not focusing enough on domestic issues

This week, mortgage rates decreased to their lowest level in over two months. The drop in mortgage rates, combined with modestly improving inventory, is an encouraging sign for consumers in the market to buy a home.

When egg and gas prices drop the libs will just find something else to complain about
i'm old enough to remember when magas took great joy in plastering "i did that" stickers all over gas pumps when prices soared after trumps lockdowns expired and people started driving again
then gas prices dropped back to pre-covid prices under biden and maga found tons of new things to complain about

The only reason foreign policy is center stage is because the big story just happened Friday. Otherwise, its been nonstop domestic talk.
Not only that, but ending the Ukraine war is focusing on domestic policy because we can stop spending all that money on weapons.

"Oh noz he wont get voted in again!!!"
You are right, he won't, but neither will any Republican. And God only knows what kind of backlash we will see if a Dem president along with a Dem House and Senate got back into power. The radical changes and restructuring would be on a massive scale.
I agree, Trump is playing for the long term, BUT there needs to be some serious thought about bringing inflation back under control and reducing some interest rates. If not, the average Joe he bought into the fold is going to leave and will likely not return.
