Trump is registering more new voters than Democrats in key states

Axios
Very, very, very good news for Trump. That’s the best thing he and the people who want to destroy the Left have heard in well over a month.

The Trump campaign and RNC have now registered 100,000 new voters in the 2020 cycle, more than doubling their numbers from 2016 and shrinking Democrats' registration advantage in key swing states, according to new Trump Victory data provided exclusively to Axios.
Why it matters: Democrats still have more active registered voters in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida, but Republicans have managed to narrow the margins in those states by tens of thousands of voters since 2016.
Between the lines: Trump won Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, Arizona and Iowa in 2016, but former Vice President Joe Biden is currently ahead in the polls in all but Iowa, according to FiveThirtyEight.
But Republicans have narrowed the voter registration gap in key swing states, according to Axios' reviews of those states records.
Republicans have lessened the margin by 133,000 registered voters in Pennsylvania and 87,000 voters in Florida.
Republicans have also chipped away at Democrats' advantage in the tossup state of North Carolina — gaining a net 216,410 voters since Election Day 2016.
Meanwhile in Arizona and Iowa, Trump Victory has managed to slow voter registration momentum behind Democrats.
In Iowa, the number of registered Democratic voters surpassed Republicans in March, but Republicans recently took back the advantage. Democrats had been outpacing Republicans in Arizona as well — but since April, Republicans have overtaken them.
Very, very, very good news for Trump. That’s the best thing he and the people who want to destroy the Left have heard in well over a month.

Yeah, but there's still millions of dead democrats ready to cast their vote.

Primary was a sign for this. If I’m remembering correctly even though unchallenged he was pulling more votes than Dems.

There is absolutely one thing the GOP should thank trump for but will never.
He absolutely changed the entire game and landscape for grass roots among conservatives. His entire team and campaign on the ground has made tremendous strides for the GOP at the national level.
The gop struggles and was so far behind for almost 20 yrs id say but after 2016 the machine trumps team built on the ground has been amazing.
Truly props to him and his campaign team.

But Dems dont need new voters. They control the votes that come in by mail. Any vote by mail ballots that come in from heavily GOP areas will be placed in the trash and not counted. This is how Dems get more votes without registering them.

That’s a good point and it gives me hope for the Democrat party. Nobody wanted to vote for McCain or Romney and the party was basically dying until Trump came with a populist message instead of telling us what we needed. I’m hoping true democrats are in that same space we were back in 2012 and will take back control of their party. This country needs a 2 party system to work but it can’t work when one of those parties is being hijacked by anti American ideology.

This is great news - a repeat of 2016!

These dead voters didn’t beat him in 2016 and now Trump has doubled up in key states. Granted hubris will be the downfall, so I won’t let it change my strategy.

They’ll quickly piss it all away through inaction once Trump and Trump Jr’s 4 terms are over.

We need to identify the guys next in line and get behind them. We can’t let it go back to establishment uniparty rhinos post Trump. Complacency got us into trouble and Trump is a lifeline but there’s a long road ahead.

Wonder how many voters he has gained in a place like Missouri that doesn’t ask your party registration

I never understood why it is necessary to register as a Dem or Republican? Why is it any of their business and what do they need that info for?

At this point anyone voting for a democrat should be considered an enemy of the state.
