Already has 106 Million and 2 years before the General Election. The Dems know that this November election is a must win or they are screwed......

There is very little correlation historically between midterm results and presidential results 2 years later

It’s not that he needs it as much as he has the ability to play Godfather and bail out a bunch of candidates having trouble.
The Republicans have 21 Senate seats up in 2020 as of now. On the plus side, the only blue and purple states involved are Colorado (Gardner), Iowa (Ernst), Maine (Collins), and arguably North Carolina (Tillis).
On the opposite side, red and purple states up are Alabama (Jones), Michigan (Peters), New Hampshire (Shaheen), and Virginia (Warner).

Maybe the MSM realized they were the biggest contributors to Trump's campaign. Even still, Trump drives ratings and I don't think they hate him more than money
