Trump Headed to Camp David This Weekend

He doesn't go there often. This will be the 17th time he has done so during his two terms vs like 150 for someone like Obama or Bush, which is more typical.
I'm wondering if he is anticipating things to escalate in the Middle East.

Yea Trump doesn’t seem like a Camp David in the woods guy. I bet he gets bored there.

Yeah, he seems to enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life. Which, to me, means there is something serious in the works. Could just be talks, could be escalation, who knows. But he has recently had national security meetings scheduled for Camp David and then changed them to hold them at the White House.
Must be something serious for him to go there, imo.

NGL he looked extremely rough getting off the plane.

If he feels like he's been made a fool of, I wouldn't want to be in Iran.

Yeah, he did. Maybe someone convinced him to spend some downtime somewhere nice. But I doubt that's it. The guy seems to refuse to quit working, ever.

Rolling Vance out there to defend the MOU is telling.
He definitely needs some down time.

This also tells me that he knew damn well that the deal wouldn't hold. He put Vance on point of the negotiations awhile back.
There is a subtle rift between Trump and Vance. He supports Rubio to take the reins on MAGA once he's gone. Not Vance.

Do presidents take Marine 1 to get to Camp David?

Everything I said is true.

I think he trust Vance, no doubt Rubio is the warhawk of the bunch and more than likely wanted Trump to bomb Iran to hell and back and I think Vance told him this was a bad ideal. IMO, going after Iran was not good ideal, they have been planning for this for 40 years, they have 90 million people and guess what I think like our country it is very spilt on if they want the regime overthrown and one side has the guns...

Weird dig at the other presidents. He spends his time at the golf course instead of at Camp David - he’s had 110 golf days so far during his second term. Which is over 20% of the time at an estimated cost of $162 million dollars.

Why would you want to be at Camp David when you can hangout at Mar a Lago?

To Trump's credit, I think he is pissed at the warhawks and neocons and decided to turn things over to JD to close it out as a F you. But, it's also possible that he is trying to hang JD out to dry with this deal for some reason.

Maybe he is working on his response to Meloni after she got her feelings hurt.

Sounds like a story arc from The Apprentice.
