Don’t know. That’s a state and national Republican Party committee thing I believe. Not locally conducted by just anyone.

While I believe ballot harvesting should be illegal in every single state the Republicans do need a better plan. The problem is not the votes however it is who counts the votes. What's to stop these democratic cities from not counting republican harvested ballots when the counters are democrats? Unless I am completely wrong and harvested ballots are ballots turned into a voting center then what will actually change? Cities are overrun by dim scum and the count will be whatever they want considering the narrative is these cities are dim strongholds already. The 2000 or even 10000 votes you need can easily be manipulated in any big city. I personally can't see any easy solution.

Imagine believing these polls. Trump has a commanding lead against a field that hasn't even announced they are running for president.

Yet if it were Desantis leading I’m sure you’d be all about it. Funny how that works.

Let me make sure I have this straight - you’re insinuating that there are people who have been selected to participate in a given poll on this matter, who after noting the options which include Desantis, they think to themselves “Well, even though this poll has Desantis as an option, and I’m hoping he does run and does win - I just can’t allow myself to choose him because darn it he hasn’t technically announced yet”……..you believe there’s enough people of that description to the point of affecting the entire poll result?

You need to read about name recognition and how it affects polls.

Both Trump and Biden have what is called "universal name recognition".

DeSantis does not have universal name recognition. Many people, outside of the Southeast, do not know enough about DeSantis to make an informed decision on him. This will happen eventually. Probably around the second debate people will be paying attention.

Airbusdawg is right. These polls don't mean shat right now.

Well, I took the “hasn’t even announced yet” comment from poster Airbag to mean a selected participant may simply say no thanks to participating directly because the person they want and prefer the most isn’t even officially a candidate at this time, so why even bother to select him in a poll?” Click.

You seem to insinuate that because he hasn’t officially announced, leading to not having enough name recognition (yet) to ne fairly considered in the poll. That fair? However I’d have to respond with the same level of doubt that I inferred in my initial post to the proposition that just the act of officially declaring and the process routine that accompanies it will suddenly be a spark that produces a game changing level of name recognition. Every time the news mentions Trump running for President, it also mentions Ron Desantis. I’d actually propose that he’s gotten above average recognition of that sort, because he’s the only other truly legit challenger to Trump. That puts more spotlight on him than other times.

I’m unmoved from my prior position.

Not in Trump’s camp. Just a bunch of bluster and talk as usual. There’s no organization to win.
