And Trump is trying to fight this war with the Iranian people in mind as well. Trying not to have a bunch of collateral carnage of innocents. But I think he misjudged their willingness to go all out to remove the regime on their own and we're now in a quagmire. I think he's trying to time some sort of victory with the midterms to get the most political gain for the party. Call me crazy.
