It's an increase on government authority, thus it is more government.
It's adding a centralized(leftists favorite thing) federal body to formally manage and coordinate government engagement with tech companies and other special interest groups.
This means the government is expanding it's role.
That it uses existing people don't mean anything. It's about as lame as claiming less government employees = reduction in government.

How would you feel if Biden somehow got back into office, or someone like him, and suddenly they have this task force and they use this task force in order to make AI companies do certain things like being tranny friendly?
Or if they made it so it could never say bad things about gay people?
Or any other forced indoctrination/regulations they wanted to put on AI companies "for safety".
