For a lawyer (in reality a political columnist) to aver that the Supreme Court majority reached its well reasoned decision regarding presidential immunity based on make believe and loyalty to Donald Trump does nothing more than show me his bias, not his legal acumen.

This. Don’t forget Alvin Bragg and merchan basically made Trump a martyr. That show trial was basically an attempt to get the monicker of convicted felon attached to Trump. It backfired so badly that the media quit using the term convicted felon because focus groups showed it benefited Trump more than hurt him

1) Not a law enforcement failure, but a criminal justice prosecution failure; and,

2) The prosecution was by the State of California, not the federal government.

It is now clearer than ever that Garland was a highly questionable choice to serve as attorney general from the start. From the outset of the Biden presidency, it was readily apparent that Garland had little desire to investigate and potentially prosecute Trump.

This is rich. I am of the belief that Garland was a worse choice for this job than that piece of shite Eric Holder who is one of the worst political figures in this country's history.

Can you imagine if Obama had succeeded in appointing him to the Supreme Court?

Say what you want about The Turtle, but he was solid on handling the Supreme Court.
