Country has been divided for a bit now. I first noticed the division worsening under Obama, but I’m sure you didn’t since he’s a dem right?

It happened well before Obama. IMO it matured after 9/11 when anyone critical of the military or of involvement in the ME started to be labeled a terrorist

Eh. I think that would have been more emotions causing the division. This division I’m talking about, the Dems vs repubs, black vs white, is almost institutionalized. They use emotions in their bickering, but the root cause is deep seeded.

Dinesh could at least be original.

Mike Wallace did a documentary on the Nation of Islam / Malcolm X and Black Nationalism nearly 60 years ago:

" The Hate that Hate Produced"

Dinesh should be more understanding with Louis Farrakhans divisiveness and Black Nationalism then.

Obama sought to divide the races and the classes. Obama never missed an opportunity to sow division, yet Trump is the great divider.

The issue is our electoral process. It used to be where you campaigned fervently to get elected but tried to be more moderate once you win your parties nomination. This helps because no matter how conservative or liberal the person was, they would modify their stance to appease moderates.

The problem today is that we vote for extremes. Only the most Democratic of Democrats wins regions. Only the most Republican of Republican wins as well.

The problem is that you've created monoliths of both parties that are not refined by taking more moderate positions.

The loser is the voters in either case. Because the politicians know you'll pull R or D depending on your time. Whether they actually improve conditions or not is irrelevant.

"So DIXIE CHICKS, I just recommend you shut up and sing and let the warriors take care of your freedom. You love to deny the truth and live in an insulated world of fantasy and then criticize the very system by which you can live free and brave.... We need policy that says if you hate America then you have 24 hours to get out or we will kill you. Case closed."

D'Souza, the criminal, who should still be in jail, who should not be allowed to publicly comment upon elections when he so willingly subverted one, didn't exactly answer the young lady's question, except to say, in effect, that Fox's hackery grew as a counter to the mainstream media's. And with that he also affirmed that orange toadstool, too, is nothing more than a hack, so any trumpkin taking solace from that bit of unhistorical insolence doesn't actually understand words.

I’ve heard Andrew Klavan say before and I agree with it 100%, that trump is what happens when the establishment wings of both parties don’t listen to the people. Also, that bureaucrats and politicians are lucky the American people sent Trump and didn’t show up themselves.

trump is an extreme conservative?? The lifelong New York Democrat??

The problem is there is no conservative that isn’t a racist, nazi, misogynist Hitler. Not Bush, not McCain (when he was running for prez), not Romney. It’s funny how they are all on the globalist side now, but when they were running for (or were) President, they were evil.

It's what happens when news outlets report 50% of events 100% of the time.
