I've had season tickets since 1998. Since Katrina, when the Saints actually have a huge waiting list for season tickets, I've never not been able to sell my extras when some of my family couldn't use them. I've sold on the ticket exchange multiple times per year for many years. I've always gotten at or above face value, even for a team heading towards 7-9. This year is different. Last home game against the Lions the tickets were selling for one third their value. I couldn't give them away to multiple people I called. That is not an exaggeration. Currently tickets in my section are going for 60% of their value and that included some of ticketmaster's fees. That is for a team that has a good chance at 5-2. Three year ago for a 4-2 Saints team I could have sold for 50% more than face value.
I'm being honest here. Many of the people I called two weeks ago to give away my tickets told me in various tones that they are not going to the games because of the players' actions. That included the family that has had season tickets next to me for 12 years. Their seat were empty for the Lions.
To believe this has nothing to do with the players kneeling is being obtuse. Hopefully on your part it's willful and you're not simply dense.

You're absolutely lying, unless you sold before the season started.

I’ve sold every ticket for face value. Every. Single. One.

why would I lie? Are your seats in the 600 section 3 rows from the top? As I said before, I had to eat several tickets last yr but this yr I've sold my tickets for over face for every home game

To prove a point.
Plus today is only the third home game. The patriots game took place before the blow up.

Yah as somebody who has sold Saints tickets semi-professionally since 2006 it's an absolute low. I have the most ideal seats (most profitable "price breaks") for scalping and while made 60% on this weeks game, in the past I'd have made 120% or so with this record and this momentum.

Congratulations?

Depends on the price breaks. The absolute cheapest terrace seats and the cheapest plaza seats and the end zone / corner loge seats have all gone above face (barely for Lions) for all home games.
If you have sideline or club or 500 level those price breaks are brutal and you're definitely under fave value for Bears and Loins games

You're trying to mock his seats here, but only the shitty cheap seats are profitable in the Dome with what is going on. His seats are almost certainly better than yours and more expensive given each of your anecdotes about reselling them

The 600s high 20s row and lower are not going for above face value that I've seen and I've checked the ticket exchange multiple times per week for the last two home games.

I'm not trying to mock him at all. I asked him that thinking that maybe he was having a tough time selling them because they were way up in the terrace.
My seats are in the corner of the plaza as we got screwed when they remodeled the dome and they pushed us back underneath the overhang. I pay $1,000 per seat as I refuse to pay triple that to move a few sections over.
I don't care if you believe me or not. I've gotten over face for every game this yr. And so have others that I know

This has been going on for a few years at least. The NFL has priced itzelf out of the range of the average fan. THAT'S the main cause of empty seats
Posted on 10/29/17 at 8:59 am to TGFN57
Again, no it hasn't. Not for the Saints at least.

I believe you now knowing where your seats are. I would still classify your seats (and mine for that matter) as "shitty"
Mine are plaza endzone upper rows $65 face.
Crap seats IMO but for some reason buyers overvalue them
