I wish I didn't bag on Trump so much so that in cases like this I could honestly point out why this is a bad idea.
Hopefully they give them some sort of less capable version like we do with most FMS and FMF transactions.

this story is from December, and it still hasnt happened yet, but the State Department did clear the sale on March 1st.

Understand but selling them doesn't mean no conditions are met.
If the Ukraine can't meet those conditions we are comfortable with then no deal.

So the reason we only gave Ukraine "non lethal" assistance is because all of our "lethal assistance" is super duper secret or too complicated or too lethal?
